Six young filmmakers were each given the chance to shoot a short on a common theme. Combined, their efforts result in a feature. The idea is to tell an alternative history of Antwerp, based on tall stories, rumors and events.

First Mission is a real life drama about the lives and work of a team of doctors on their remote outpost of International Frontline Doctors in South America. The team consists out of young Doctor Marina, the Logistics Manager Barry, Project Coordinator Thijs and local staff members Orlando and Diego; who all work under very difficult and dangerous circumstances. Marina, the lead character, finds out that on the torn continent of Latin-America, it is not about winning prizes, but about being part of the match it self, and that all that matters is to be able to make a difference, even if it is a small one

She leaves her homesick father and dependent mother behind in an attempt to find out what she really wants with her life. In Amsterdam Nurgül gets to play a key role in the exposure of a drugdealer and learns what it is to be an undercover agent. During the mission, she finds out the secrets about her long lost brother and discovers the real reason why she was sent to Amsterdam

An explicator of silent movies falls in love with the star of film he's accompanying.
One evening, a blind woman comes out of her car with a tear-stained face. In a flashback, we see the preceding events. She sits on a swing and falls for a man's voice who asks her for directions. But she does not want to touch his face. As a girl, she could fantasise about her face, until she touched it. Now, she fears the same with the man.
Car Men is a collaboration between the renowned choreographer Jíri Kylían and filmmaker Boris Paval Conen. Based on the opera 'CARMEN' by Georges Bizet they shot a hilarious and poetic short film in the destroyed landscape of a Czech brown coal mine. The actors in this film are older dancers from Kylían's troupe (around 50 years old) and the main prop is a 'TATRA 87', a famous car from 1937.
Brandon is doing more and more odd jobs for Billy, the leader of a local youth gang. When Brandon and his best friend Stefano break into a judo school, Brandon is caught by Kai, the judo teacher. Brandon gets a chance to get out of the gang and train for an important judo match. But Brandon doesn't want to lose Stefano, who has also joined the gang, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to make the right choices.
In the confused melee that follows a roadside bomb attack on their convoy in Afghanistan, a Dutch soldier opens fire on a suspect Afghan, only to find that this killing unleashes a chain of dramatic events that will cast a long shadow over the lives of all initial survivors.
As a child, Amadou flees his native country Guinee to escape from the rebels. He ends up in the Netherlands and spends several years in a centre for asylum seekers, waiting for a decision on his asylum application to be taken. Meanwhile, he learns the language, goes to school and nearly graduates. Before he can actually graduate, however, the authorities decide to send Amadou back to Guinee. Together with four fellow-countrymen he is taken to the airport in a small van. The five foreigners whose asylum application has been rejected decide to put up a resistance against their expulsion. In view of the interests at stake, the authorities go to great lengths to deport the five men. This incident, based on true facts, leads to a night full of violence and intrigue that only produces losers.
