Six Characters

Two peasants in rural Bang Kapi, Bangkok of Thailand in 1930s. Kwan and Riam are the son and daughter of rival village chiefs. They both loved and give to the vow to die in the river if their doesn't love each other. Until someday, Riam's father disapproves of the relationship. He wants his daughter to marry with the son of a nobleman. A tragedy of romance between their relationship begins like the wound.

The story beginnings with a young man visiting a village in Burma. One night, a beautiful woman comes into his bedroom and attempts to seduce him. She suddenly leaves, frighten by the sounds of screams coming from outside. The next day, the young man asks Tip, Ni Han's right hand man, about the screams. Tip then tells him the story of Yupadee and Sangmong, Ni Han's former wife and nephew.....

The story of Anda, a young man who love the sea, he likes diving and collecting things. Anda always dreamed that Someday will meet with the dream woman. Then one day like a fate, giving pure love to happen When Anda helped Fahsai which is going to drown. He saved her life. And that is like the first kiss of the couple that produces a special feeling in the heart of Anda and Fahsai.

Chanachol, recently returned to Thailand after living overseas, signs up for a tour to get back in touch with Thai culture, and finds himself attracted to the tour guide, Mekhala. There are several problems with the relationship: Chanachol is married, with family, and Mekhala has a mysterious, symbiotic relationship with a deadly cobra, and many of her previous suitors have ended up dead.

Set in the 1930′s the story recounts the growing pains of Jan, whose mother dies while giving birth to him and who’s intensely hated by his father. Jan grows up with Aunt Wad, his stepmother, and he struggles to reconcile his guilt and longing with different women in his life, including a girl called Hyacinth, whom he adores, and later Madame Boonleung, his father’s lover who becomes a key to Jan’s sexual awakening.

Khon Rerng Muang 2002 staring Mai Charoenpura as Eprink was directed by one of Thailand best dramatic director, M.L. Pundhevanop Dhewakul. This all-star casts 2002 version of Khon Rerng Muang was Produced by Sam's Uranan's Urakarn Network and aired on Thai Ch. 5.

A love story

Adapted from Japanese film called Rashomon, U Mong Pa Meung (The Outrage) takes place in a wood during Thai’s Lanna period where a mysterious murder happens. The story is told through three witnesses: a young monk, woodcutter and undertaker.
