Hanuman Junction is a 2001 Indian Telugu action comedy film directed by M. Raja and produced by M. V. Lakshmi.

Nisha leaves Krishna because of his easy-going attitude towards his life and career. Soon, her parents arrange her marriage with an NRI and she reluctantly agrees, but things do not go as planned.

The story is centered in a village where the parents of first cousins Sujatha (Sadha) and Raghu (Gopichand) decide that both will be married when they become adults. As a child, Sujatha's uncle gives her anklets, which she wears as she grows up. As they grow older, Raghu is caught smuggling money from his house. At school, Raghu beats up a kid for talking to Sujatha. They quarrel, and soon Raghu's family leaves for another village. Sujatha grows to be an attractive college girl, while the villain Raghu becomes a good-for-nothing character. On her way to college, Sujatha meets Ravi (Jayam Ravi), a poor but handsome, charming enthusiastic boy when he asked her to wear her anklets to college again, and soon after their quarrels they fall in love. . On the day of her marriage, Sujatha elopes with Ravi and the action hots up as they are chased by Raghu and his thugs.

An idealistic cop and an ambitious scientist-businessman indulge in a high-stake battle of wits.

The story starts in a jail, where prisoner Muthupandi (Prabhu) is being interrogated by a police officer (Vijayakumar) about his past. Without hesitation, Muthupandi tells. Muthupandi is a son of the soil, a very hard working self-made man who dotes on his only sister Kavitha (Trisha Krishnan). Their mother died very early and it was Muthupandi who brought up Kavitha with a lot of love and affection. Kavitha’s best friend Lalitha (Richa Pallod), who is getting married, takes Kavitha to her house for the nuptial ceremony. As an emotional scene prior to this notes, this is the first time Kavitha has been away from her brother.

M. Kumaran Son Of Mahalakshmi is the remake version of Telugu movie Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi. Kumaran (Ravi) who life is all about his mother Mahalakshmi (Nadhiya) who is separated from her husband Eshwar (Prakash Raj). Kumaran is passionate about kickboxing and he shares a very special relationship with his mother. In between, Kumaran falls in love with Malabar (Asin). But his life is destroyed after his mother's death. On the deathbed she tells her son to meet his father, a kick boxing champion, who lives in Malaysia. Kumaran goes to Malaysia to meet him and he comes...

The film begins with a baby taking his initial steps on a beach while the father is supporting him. The narrator in the background (Sathyaraj) states that, it is right for a father to support his child in his infancy, but questions whether the father should continue to hold the child’s hand even after he is 24 years old. As the credits roll, a visibly angry Santhosh (Jayam Ravi) begins uttering abuses at all the fathers in the world. When inquired about his disgust, he says that his father, Subramaniam (Prakash Raj), gives him more than what he asks for. He cites instances where his choices of dressing, hairdo and many others are stashed away by his father’s. However, he vows that the two things that will be of his choice would be, his career and the woman he would marry.

An ordinary milkman is forced to become the fictional character Velayudham who takes on the scum of the earth.
