Brümilda van Rensburg

The Chemo Club is a feature film which follows strong willed Lulu (Brümilda van Rensburg) and humble Faith (Lillian Dube) as they embark on a heist to recover their stolen funds from a corrupt retirement pensions boss (Chris Chameleon). As former 1970s comic book heroes, they channel their alter egos in the 1970's, enlisting the help of their former colleague (Tobie Cronje) and a younger media student and comic book enthusiast (Rea Rangaka) to complete their heist and return to their glory days.

This local ensemble comedy is set in 2003, as a group of working-class South Africans try to come to terms with their changed society. Seen through the eyes of a family dog, we watch as friends, neighbours and lovers try to deal with their challenging relationships.

Unfortunately, the fine print in the contract stipulates that Paul make the kind of commercial music he vowed he never would, and also forces him to act under a stage name. Now, Paul must decide if he is willing to sell his soul for financial stability. And whatever he decides, he realizes that it will have a lasting effect on his career and on his life.

Niek and Joe share a history and a secret from their time together in the Angola War in the late 80s. Today, Niek and Joe work for TJ Mokoena, but when Joe discovers the ugly underbelly of Mokoena's business, things start going horribly wrong for the down-and-out divorcee. To complicate matters, his stripper girlfriend Peggy is getting tired of him milking her for money. Niek is Joe's only hope, but he too is still battling demons from his time in the war. His sister Bienkie arrives home with marital problems and it seems everyone is worse for wear since the end of the series.

This leads to an all-out war between vampires; those who are against the serum and those who would use it to leave the shadows of night, including vicious upstart vampire Borlak (David James) who will stop at nothing to obtain it. Billy and police detective Joe Kau must now work together to protect Jenny and her family, and to keep this discovery from those who would use it against all of humanity

Many main characters from the TV series did not return for the movie. The movie also features Steve Hofmeyer's song, "Agter Elke Man", which he wrote for the movie.

The president of an African country wants to boost his economy with a new dam. He ignores the protests of the tribes in the flooded region, so they declare rebellion. To avoid bad publicity, the president doesn't use his army, but hires four international mercenaries, who shall find tribes leader Kuruba and smother the protest. However after learning about the tribes motivation, the Vietnam veterans T.J. and Cliff realize how they're being used and reconsider.

Five star (hotel) is a sarcastic reference to the Pretoria prison which is central to the plot. An inmate Skollie (A nickname meaning delinquent) escapes from jail with one desire, to be united with his son again. Life outside is much different to what Skollie remembers. Still behind bars are inmates Pappa, Priester and Polka, who are doing everything to prevent Skollie from being reunited with his son, even if that means they have to kill. Skollie discovers that Pappa might be responsible for the death of his mother and he vows revenge.

The story revolves around Steve (Ian Roberts) a zoologist who does research on poisonous snakes with the help of his long time friend Thabo (Peter Se-Puma) Steve and his wife Katrien are newly weds and very much in love but Steve's dangerous occupation casts a shadow over Katrien's happiness and causes tension between them. Sonja an aspiring artist and Katrien's best friend visits the couple and seeks inspiration for her work form the beautiful rural surroundings but she also becomes aware of undercurrents that strike fear into her heart and a series of strange murders only feeds her anxiety and an unexpected discovery that will seal her fate.

With the help of some money, he engineers that she is assigned as reporter to the planned manoeuvres, where he would love to impress her. However, things turn out different as Buddy and his comrades are assigned to do the manual labour during the manoeuvres, and the arrogant Captain humiliating them turns out to be Liza's new boyfriend. But when a bunch of criminal madmen disturb the manoeuvre and take a hostage, it is up to Buddy and his comrades to rescue the hostage, their honour - and the girl's love.
