A Paw-Paw For My Darling
This local ensemble comedy is set in 2003, as a group of working-class South Africans try to come to terms with their changed society. Seen through the eyes of a family dog, we watch as friends, neighbours and lovers try to deal with their challenging relationships.

After a dispute with a local dentist, a minister is thrown out of his church, and finds himself an unemployed White Afrikaner Male. Desperate for work, he accepts a job as a manager in a men's club, which allows gambling, stripping and drinking - by the customers. In an attempt to avoid his old congregation recognising him, he dons a costume straight out of the Bible. To make matters worse, the club is run by his cousin, who is also a gangster.

Her father is totally set against this idea and does not like the boyfriend who claims to be a pilot but does not even have a proper pilot's license. To add to the intrigue, the girlfriend sells her prize white horse to get money for the parts which angers her father even more....
