It's a situation comedy built around the actors Lida and Johan Botha, who make their appearance as Stanley and Deborah Vermeulen, or Grandpa and Grandma. It deals with various aspects of growing older and their adjustment to be grandparents. Deborah's niece, Anna, lives with them in the house, and Patience is the insistence of their son, Seuna appointed as their nurse

Marisa and Frank honeymoon in South Africa. A particularly favourable offer lures them to a lonely and run-down hotel. There, they are attacked by men. Frank is beaten and kidnapped, while Marisa barely escapes. She receives help from the young South African Biko, who helps her to escape the men. Marisa and Biko find out that people are abducted to be cannibalized for the trade in organs. Finally, the two try to find frank and save him.

"Hoesê!" This is a film based on the South African sitcom by the same name; such name referring to the manual telephone system operated by one of the cast. In addition to the usual (mostly mature) cast, pretty girl Zoli Marki muddles things up. Add to this a mix-up with a heyday homelands casino for further comedy and confusion.
