Snaaks Genoeg (Funny Enough) is an entertaining and poignant dark comedy, which explores the pain inflicted by humour on the average human being. The film, an original piece written and directed by David Moore, follows a down-and-out comedian (Casper de Vries) who drifts from one small town to another. Having alienated his audience with his crude comments and dirty humours, his popularity has faded. He hits the road fighting not only for survival, but also to find the spark he once had. He has been reduced to doing shows in small towns and working for food and accommodation. As he drifts from remote location to remote location, successful comedians are being kidnapped, tortured and murdered in bizarre ways, and he seems to be riding right into the centre of this storm.

This local ensemble comedy is set in 2003, as a group of working-class South Africans try to come to terms with their changed society. Seen through the eyes of a family dog, we watch as friends, neighbours and lovers try to deal with their challenging relationships.

Juan returns to Cape Town with his family from their life in England when he discovers his mother is dying. She insists she wants her conflicted son to reconcile with his alcoholic dad, but all the younger man remembers of his childhood is disappointment and shame and although he wants to be with his mother he intensely dislikes his father, though it's probably more a case of Juan hating who he is himself, because of his father.

Deep in a lush valley are four wine farms and four wine families. Four families surrounded by mystery, love... and murder. Four wine farms - Rossow, Le Fortune des Vins, Smoorberg and Mount Jolley - exist in a crease in time in their valley, almost completely untouched by the outside world. Until the winemaker on Rossow, Deetlef Koen, is murdered. Described as a sexually voracious womanizer; a man of reckless extravagance and egocentricity, Koen's murder sets in motion a series of events that rip open the past, forcing the residents of the valley to acknowledge - and accept - their flawed history. Koen's many lovers, their spouses, a wine writer, an adopted daughter, an estranged ex-wife, a housekeeper, a head worker and the detective sent to investigate the crime - each one's life is irreversibly changed by the violent death.

Skilpoppe is a gripping look at a South African tragedy, as seen through the eyes of a 17 year old girl. It touches on social issues like suicide, drug addiction and homophobia in a tender and humerous way. The story follows Anna Meyer, a schoolgirl who wins the role of Juliet in her school's production of Romeo and Juliet. She struggles to come to terms with the deeper, darker side of her personality; mostly because she still needs to exercise the demons from a tragedy in her own life.
